When the great people from Sumerian Records announced the formation of Sumerian Films I was very excited to see what they would come up with. While I knew they would mix their knowledge of the music industry with their roster of eclectic artists, I had no idea their debut film What Now would be such a hilarious movie!

What Now tells the tale of a group of roommates that share all sorts of fun California type adventures while trying to make the best out of their lives but that are desperate to maintain a solid relationship, which is why they turn into modern technology in order to find more than just a piece of ass.

Mayor kudos to Ash Avildsen, the CEO/Founder of both Sumerian Records and Sumerian Films, who not only wrote and directed the movie but also played a role that was perfect for him: a DJ who is desperately trying to "make it" in the music industry that gets easily distracted by his roomates, which include rapper Bizzy Bone from BONE THUGS N HARMONY.

Never in a million years did I think I would get to watch Lorenzo Antonucci (ex-SWORN ENEMY) acting on the big screen. Yes, he is acting as himself (Italian guido from Queens, New York) and will probably not be nominated for an Oscar but it's always cool to see musicians stepping out of their comfort zone for the sake of entertaining the public (even if it requires taking one for the team). After all, musicians are entertainers!

What Now also features cameo appearances by ICE T, Steven Adler, Tosin Abasi (ANIMALS AS LEADERS), Ben Bruce (ASKING ALEXANDRIA) and Danny Worsnop (WE ARE HARLOT).

This movie might not change your life but it will definitely entertain you and make you have numerous good laughs. I am personally stoked to see what's next for Sumerian Films!
