HIGH ON FIRE's NEW album Luminiferous (available now via eOne Music) goes down like high quality aged whiskey that awakens every single taste bud of your musical pallet. Like a perfect roller coaster ride, this NEW slab of HIGH ON FIRE tunes delivers what you expect from this "superb band" and then some. In typical HIGH ON FIRE fashion, the entire album is laid out for fans of real good Heavy Music to enjoy as they please. Some may want to drink up while cranking this masterpiece, while others might want to roll one up. Hell, this album even sounds amazing when being completely sober!

Once again, the band - Matt Pike, Des Kensel and Jeff Matz - wrote a batch of songs that contains that unique signature sound that has made them a force to be reckoned with within the Heavy Music world ever since they were born in 1998. The band's NEW album, which is the follow up to 2012's De Vermis Mysteriis, was recorded at GodCity Studios in Salem, Massachusetts with producer Kurt Ballou (CONVERGE). While HIGH ON FIRE could have had any producer work with them on their NEW sonic assault, they purposely chose Ballou since he is not only one hell of a producer but he also knows what it takes for a band to create memorable music in today's highly competitive music world.

What really sets Luminiferous apart from other recent Heavy Music releases is the musicality it possesses. While HIGH ON FIRE has always been all about playing good music and not just stacking heavy parts for the sake of being the heaviest band in the planet, this time around the band have delivered an album that possesses plenty of awesome vocals, crushing riffs and grooves that awaken the dead. The band's seventh studio album will surely be in many top 10 lists at the end of 2015!
